Super Junior-M on Spring Festival Gala (Rumor)

Although there will be only 6 minutes of pop music performance on this year's Spring Festival Gala, the list of singers are still attracting attention. On January 7, the source says that
Jackie Chan, Jay Chou, Chang Chen Yue, Lo Ta-yu, Emil Wakin Chau, Jonathan Lee, group Super Junior-M lead by Han Geng, Han Xue, Eason Chan, Mao Amin, and Man Wenjun will perform.

There will be no need for singers from Hong Kong and Taiwan to rehearse before the formal rehearsal. On 1 pm January 9, the singers will rehearse the first half of the performance for the first time . On 1 pm January 10, the singers will rehearse the second half of the performance.

For those who are not familiar with the CCTV Spring Festival Gala, it is organized by the state-owned TV station China Central Television (CCTV) and usually captures the attention of more than 600 million television viewers every year. This year's performance will be broadcast live on CCTV-1, CCTV-4, and CCTV-9 on January 25, 2009 which is also the Spring Festival Eve.

This news is released today but it is not confirmed by Han Geng or his company yet, so please look forward to it with limited expectations. Personally I will be thrilled to death if Han Geng could perform on such an important stage. However, many artists are fighting to have the opportunity to perform in front of millions of people so it is unlikely that Han Geng could make it.
