Super Junior-M to Attend 2008 South-East Music Chart Awards

Every year, Korean stars will show up at the South -East Music Chart Awards. Asian pop idol group Super Junior-M will perform at this year's award ceremony to be held on November 15.

This April, leaded by Super Junior Chinese member Han Geng, Siwon, Donghae, Kyuhyun, Ryeowook, and new Chinese members Henry, Zhou Mi form the new sub-group Super Junior-M. They have received attention from all across Asia. 'M' stands for mandarin, and Super Junior-M aims to be a mega-star in Chinese music market.

Super Junior-M leader Han Geng is busy shooting his first TV drama series 'Youth Stage'. This is a CCTV (China Central Television) drama. Besides Han Geng, the drama also stars Hong Kong singers Joey Yung and Yumiko Cheung, and Chinese actress Huang Yi. Joey Yung plays an archer in the drama, and she and the dancer played by Han Geng have some love scenes in the drama. Han Geng reveals that he is not familiar with Joey Yung, but he knows that Joey is a popular star in Hong Kong. 'Since she has to speak mandarin, Joey worries about her mandarin, so Huang Yi and I are helping her.' Being his first time shooting a drama, Han Geng also says that he is quite nervous at the shooting set and in order to avoid having a lot of NGs, Han Geng consults Joey modestly. As to the 6th South-East Music Chart Awards, Han Geng is really looking forward to it, and Super Junior-M has arranged new dance and made new costumes. Those will revealed for the first time in China.
