Han Geng May Land Lead Role in Chinese Movie 'Four Cupids'

Movie ‘Four Cupids’ is set to start shooting at the beginning of August and people have great interest in who will be the leading actor and leading actress.

Rumor has it that Chinese actor Chen Kun will star in it; however, the production crew is also in touch with the super popular Korea-based new generation pop idol Han Geng.

The movie’s producer Qi Junsheng says that Han Geng enjoys high popularity and his clean image perfectly suits the modern comedy romance ‘Four Cupids’. What attracts the production crew most is Han Geng’s hardworking and earnestness. Although Han Geng has never starred in mainland movies, it is believed that his earnestness will help him. Han Geng May Sing Theme Song for Drama

Recently, Olympics- dedicated drama ‘Paralleled with Dream’ which is sponsored by famous beauty professor Zhang Shumei is said to start shooting at the end of July 2008. However, the rumored cast members Huang Xiaoming and Fan Bingbing will not star in the drama because of their schedule, and young actress Li Jia land lead role in it. Li Jia will play a nurse in the drama.

Yesterday the report called Professor Zhang Shumei and asked her whether Han Geng will sing the theme song. Zhang said that they were still negotiating with Han Geng’s agency company and hopefully Han Geng will sing the theme song for the drama.

Han Geng Most Popular Among Girls

After appearing in Guangzhou and Wuhan, Korean pop group Super Junior-M come to Hangzhou to attend Mengniu 'Run Towards Beijing, Fulfill Music Dream' performance as honored guest. Although it’s Super Junior-M’s first time in Hangzhou, the 7-member band is enjoying high popularity among fans. The moment they appear on stage, fans are screaming. Super Junior-M member Han Geng joked that he would like to the host and the host can dance instead. However, after the hosts announced that Han Geng was the guest host, Han Geng immediately said that it was time to enjoy the dancing so as to avoid the responsibility of hosting. The hosts acted quickly and disqualified Han Geng from being the host.
During the following interaction game, the host asked who was the timidest member among them. The audience thought it was Ryewook. However, Si Won said that Zhou Mi was the timidest member. Once Zhou Mi saw a small bug and was scared to death.
When asked who was the most popular among girls, audience shouted Han Geng’s name the minute the hosts finished the question. At first Han Geng wanted to say that Si Won and Don Hae were most popular among girls, but Si Won and Don Hae pushed Han Geng to the fore and Han Geng had no other choice but to admit it.
